Position: Technical Project Manager (Outage Management System)

Role Overview:
The Project Manager will lead the implementation of an Outage Management System (OMS), driving all phases from initiation through delivery and transition to operations. This role requires a balance of technical acumen, stakeholder management, and PMO governance.

Role Overview:
The Project Manager will lead the implementation of an Outage Management System (OMS), driving all phases from initiation through delivery and transition to operations. This role requires a balance of technical acumen, stakeholder management, and PMO governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead OMS implementation projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Create and maintain project plans, budgets, risk registers, and communication plans.
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards, SDLC, and change management processes.
- Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.
- Support storm restoration and utility operations as needed.
Required Skills:- 5+ years of formal project management experience.
- Hands-on experience with Outage Management Systems (OMS) in a Utility environment.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall & Iterative) frameworks.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and PPM tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Valid Driver’s License (required for onsite work).
Preferred:- PMP, Six Sigma, or Agile certification.
- Experience in Energy & Utilities sector or with PPM tools like Planview, Jira, or ServiceNow.
